Remove the six screws on the back of the unit. Seperate the case carefully, there is an antena wire and power wires that are connected to both parts. Unscrew the plate holding the battery in and disconnect the power connector.

The battery is a Sunnyway SW1208 Lead-Acid battery. It has a odd shape. A replacement for it is the PS-1208WL from Powersonic. I found Portable Power Systems has it for $14.70 each. Don't know shipping price yet. Another source was BatteryPrice which has it for 20.35 (8.95 S&H)
